Bell gave him a strange look. Now there was a question you didn't run into everyday. "No, no boyfriend. If that's what you meant." there had been a few boys she had been with at one point or another, but none of it ever seemed to work out. "What about you? Have some love sick girl sulking around the hall walls of this school, or waiting at home in hope of seeing your handsome face again." she smirked slightly. "I'm sure your girlfriend is missing you a lot right about now." It wouldn't surprise her if he did have a girlfriend he was nice, and very cute, but then again she just met him so who knew.

Dakota frowned a bit remebering his ex-crush at home. "I don't ahve a girlfriend. I had a crush but she hates me. I didn't really have that great of social skills when I met her. I'm over her now. Girls don't like me back home. They called me rude and a pyscho. I used to get in fights with all the guys and kick their asses. I'm over it know and take some counseling from my older brother." He laughs at this point. "My brother 28, hot as hell as the ladies say it, and he is still single. I'm nothing like him though. I would have to say he is my better half." The fact that Dakota was bashing himself was strange to him. He never used to talk bad about himself but speaking lies to her seemed wrong. He liked her and didn't want to be caught in any lies. Truth was the way to go know for him.

Annabella nodded as he spoke and frowned a bit when he said what people said about him. "Rude, and a psycho, huh? Well that's not half as bad as I've heard." she grinned. "Odd thing about people. Most are to judgemental and think they know all about you because of a few action you've done in the past." Bell shook her head that some of the names she was called when she was a kid. "So, you have an older sibling. That sound wonderful. He sounds like a good guy some who has kept you grounded, but don't sell yourself so short. Even if you feel you aren't like him, I'm sure you are better then you are making yourself out to be." Of course she couldn't really say that since she didn't know his brother, but from what she saw in Dakota he wasn't bad like he wasn't bad like he was putting himself out to be, but at least he wasn't one of those guys who were so full of themselves that each time they passed a mirror it was like no one else in the world existed.

Dakota smiled "Thanks. My brother is my better half. I wouldn't be here without him." Dakota loved his brother and rarely said it to him. He let his head fall back and stared into the ceiling. There was one person that card so deeply for him besides his brother. He frowned when he remember he never really had feelings for him.

Annabella smiled softly and closed her eyes as her head rested on her hands. The sound of Dakota's voice reached her ears. "It's always goo to have people around who keep you from getting lost in the dark, sort of speak. My best friend back home is like that." she said as her eye fluttered between open and close. A small yawn escaped her, but she didn't really want to get back to her room and just sleep. "So tell me more about you life away from school." she said with another smile. Talking to him was a nice change, he was interesting, and a it had been a talk.

Dakota frowned slightly. 'My life away from school isn't all that interesting. For the past four years its been ok. I usually hung out with my friend Brad and my brother would take the time to counsel me. Ohterwise my life away sucked in my third year and down." he didn't want to talk about his life with his father. He hated the bastard for torturing him.

Annabella gave him a sympathy look. "Sorry, I didn't mean to bring up a topic that would upset you." she said softly Honestly she could understand someone not wanting to talk about their live. After all she mostly hated her own away from school. "So..." the girl thought for a minute of another subject. "What kind of stuff do you like." Bell hoped that would be a safe enough thing to talk about. Her brown eyes feel on to the boy just now noticing how good looking he was. Maybe she shouldn't stare to long. Bad thoughts form that way. Annabella's cheeks turned a bit rosy at her own voice in her head as she turned her gaze away from Dakota.

Dakota smiled, completely forgeting on what she had said about his life. "I enjoy anything really. Reading, writting, sketching. I would have to choose Sketching out of all of them. I find it more creative to be able to draw what you feel or think on a piece of parchment." He had many sketches of Mystic in his trunk back in the dorm

Annabella gave him a large smile. "I envy you for that." she said with a little laugh. "I couldn't draw to save my life. My talents seem to be placed else where. Though I really do wish I could sketch." she ran her fingers through her soft brown hair and looked around the library. They had been here for an awfully long time. It was surprising no one else had shown up. "I enjoy reading a lot, and singing is a big passion of mine along with writing also." they had a few things in common that was good. "Much like sketching is to you I feel that way about music. I just feel free when I am singing. It helps me express my emotions." Bell gave a soft shrug at her own words.

Dakota smiled. "I agree. There are some muggle bands that enjoy listening to. There is this one song called Cold. I sang that to someone before. I'm just still happy I'm friends with her." He remebered the song as if he had just listened to it. The words just came into his mind. He closed his eyes then opened them staring of into the distance.

A smile crossed her face. "I know the song very well. It's one of my favorite muggle bands. Though I prefer Crossfade's Broken Like an Angel, or maybe Invincible." she shrugged a bit. That song was lovely, but it wasn't one of the best. "I love singing Broken Like An Angel, it's lyrics hold some special meaning to me." It was good they had some of the same taste in music. "So can you sing?" she asked coyly. "I would like to hear you if you don't mind." she blushed lightly and smiled again. Hearing people sing was like looking deep into their souls. Every expression on their face, and reaction to the words was a way of really getting to know someone.

He smiled. "Well, I guess I could." He sat there thinking of a song to sing. He decided to sing Cold. He closed his eyes and began, his voice with some much feeling and passion.

He took the music break and then opened his eyes remembering when he hit his love. The next verse had so much of his heart in it, he looked as if he would cry. His voice was as an angel.
